Capitol Reef 4/27

Our first "campground full" experience when we got to Capitol Reef. People in Utah make use of campgrounds in their state. We stayed at nearby Torre. Capitol Reef was another spectacular scenic spectacle. Very hard to capture on film.




We left Capitol Reef on scenic highway 12. It took us up into the mountains and again we ran into evidence that this has been a weird spring.


We descended into the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. Our first stop was the Calf Creek State Park and Campground.
