5/06/08 Colorado Springs

We arrive at my family's house in Colorado Springs and set up. The tree that is spectacularly blooming in their front yard is called a Hopi apple tree.


It is a favorite of the resident deer that wander around the neighborhood. One morning we looked out of our window of the motorhome and four were pruning back the blossoms. They really go to town when the little apples appear later on during the year.


We have to take a few days off for rv maintenance -- back to Dodge a couple times to fix the engine air conditioner.
