4/29/08

We (the rv's plumbing) survived 19 degree weather in Grants, New Mexico on 4/27. The next day, We headed off to the Petrogylph National Monument near Albuquerque (one to skip). Next we went to Coronado State Park to camp. Here is scene from our rig, with the Rio Grande River and the Sandia Mountains in the background.

Today on our way to Santa Fe we stopped at an almost unknown national monument, Tent Rocks National Monument. After 4 miles on a very dusty dishboard gravel road, we came to the namesakes. With Bandelier National Monument just a few miles away, this is another one that can be missed.
