8/8 - 8/9 Madrone Lodge and then home
Alexa's folks bought an old house in the Jack London Estates in Glen Ellen back in the early 1970's. When they pulled off the siding, they found Jack London's name written on an occasional hidden board or timber. Upon investigation, they learned that the name was written on the lumber from the local lumberyard. The story was that Jack London built a number of houses for his sister, and this may be one of them.
Alexa takes a picture of herself while getting a quick shot of the old homestead as we drove by.
The house still looks the same.
