8/7 - 8/8 Leaving Oregon and on to California

The Oregon coast as we are getting closer to California. It reminded us of portions of Big Sur and the Central Coast.



The Avenue of the Giants in Humboldt Redwoods State Park, south of Eureka, was as intriguing as some of the beautiful forests in Oregon. We actually drove this road when we rented a rv a few years ago. In many places, the redwoods were right next to the road. All I could think of was how narrow the roads were. It was one of the reasons we decided on our small footprint Navion.
