May 23 - May 28 Colorado Springs

After a rocky night in Raton, New Mexico, KOA on May 22, we made it to Colorado Springs where we visited my folks. My sister Karen was visiting just as she was leaving for two months in Italy to help cousin Judy recuperate at home.



The shot of the backyard points to the welcome effects of the constant rain we experienced during our stay. This is as green as I have ever seen Colorado Springs. Next stop, Rocky Mountain National Park.
